Lemonboy
Lemonboy is the musical project of Adam Greczkowski, a queer singer-songwriter blending the lyrical storytelling and acoustic warmth of folk music with pop’s catchy melodies. Based in Washington, DC, Lemonboy’s self-titled debut album explores themes of identity, self-discovery, kindness, loss, and wonder with a heartfelt sincerity. Lemonboy is both an intimate personal journey and a tribute to chosen family—a celebration of the connections that carry us through life’s challenges and joys.
Inspired by moments when emotions feel too vast to contain, Lemonboy’s music balances introspection with bold honesty. Tracks like “Ribbons” examine the struggle of navigating change, while “Bright” critiques judgment cloaked in virtue and highlights the quiet strength of kindness.
After not sharing his music widely for over a decade, Lemonboy found courage to pursue this project through the support of his community and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C. Weaving his chosen family’s voices and talents into his work, Lemonboy emphasizes the value of human connection, offering a reminder to embrace our feelings, to honor our growth, and to do our best to make tomorrow a little brighter than today.
